Chocolate Chip Bloaters

Ingredients
90g Butter
1 tsp Vanilla Essence
â…“ cup (75g) Caster sugar
â…“ cup (75g) firmly packed Demerera Sugar
1 Egg
½ cup (75g) Self-raising flour
¾ Cup (105g) Flour
¾ Cup (135g) Chocolate
½ cup (50g) chopped Pecan nuts, Walnuts or Almonds
1 tbsp Milk
Method
Beat butter, vanilla essence and sugars, till light and fluffy, then beat in egg
Stir in flours, roughly chopped chocolate and nut chunks and milk
Place cookies on parchment paper, to own required size, allowing 2cm between, makes about 20 in my case, they don’t spread much
Bake at 160°C for 15 to 20 minutes or until firm and lightly brown
Leave to cool on wire racks
