Chocolate Chip Cookies

Ingredients
125g Butter
150g Sugar
1 Egg
1â…“ cups (200g) Flour
1 tsp Vanilla extract
1 cups (100g) Chocolate Chips
Method
Use a stand mixer to beat butter and sugar together until light and fluffy
Beat in the eggs and vanilla
Mix in flour
Gently stir in chocolate chips
Divide into equal-sized portions (at this stage the portions can be frozen and baked fresh at a later stage)
Flatten portions to 1cm thick and arrange on a baking sheet allowing room to spread (they will double in size)
Bake at 190°C for 8 to 10 minutes
Allow to cool for 10 minutes on the baking sheets, then transfer to wire racks to cool completely
