Kei Apple Glaze

Interesting glaze for pork chops (if you can get hold of them)

Ingredients

  • 400g Kei Apples (chopped roughly, skins, pips and all)

  • 200g Sugar

  • 0.25 tsp Salt

Method

  1. Put everything together in a pot and bring to the boil.

  2. Simmer until desired consistency is reached.

  3. Push through a sieve and bottle in sterilised jars.

Notes

Brush directly onto pork chops towards the end of your cook. If cooking in a pan, add some butter or cream afterwards to make a lovely sauce with the pan juices.
