Ingredients
2 large Lamb Shanks
Juice of 1 large Lemon
3 tbsp Olive Oil
1 tsp Garlic, chopped
Salt & Pepper
1 tsp dried Origanum (2 tsp if fresh)
1 tsp dried Thyme (2 tsp if fresh)
1 tsp dried Rosemary (2 tsp if fresh)
2 Bay Leaves, crumbled
1 cup Water
Method
Sprinkle shanks with lemon juice
Rub with oil, garlic, salt, pepper & herbs
Place meat in roasting pan and add water and cover with well-sealed lid
Bake at 100°C until bone separates from meat (about 4 to 6 hours)
Top up water whenever necessary
