Meat Balls in Tomato Sauce

Ingredients

Meat Balls

  • 600g Beef Mince

  • 2 Red Onions, finely chopped

  • 2 Cloves Garlic, finely chopped

  • 2 Eggs

  • 1½ cups Bread Crumbs


Tomato Sauce

  • 1 tin Tomatoes (get me size!!!!!!!!!)

  • 1 tin tomato purrée (get me size!!!!!!!!!)

  • 1 tbsp dried mixed herbs

  • 4 rashers Bacon, finely chopped

Method

Meat Balls

  1. Fry onions and garlic in a dash of oil until translucent

  2. Mix together all ingredients

  3. Roll into balls or patties

  4. Dust with flour and fry


Tomato Sauce

  1. Fry bacon (use meat ball pan)

  2. Pour in all other ingredients and bring to boil

  3. Add meat balls

  4. Simmer for 10 minutes
