Pork chops in Cider

Ingredients

  • Pork chops

  • Shallots

  • Sage

  • Butter

  • Cider

  • Parsley

  • Salt & Pepper

Method

  1. Finely chop the onion & sage

  2. Rub into a paste with some butter, salt & pepper

  3. Score the chops and rub in the paste

  4. Fry until golden

  5. Add cider and simmer

  6. Add a knob of butter and chopped parsley

  7. Serve with sautéed potatoes and greens
