Portuguese Giblets or Livers

Ingredients
250g Chicken Gizzards, Necks, Hearts, Livers or a mix of each
Olive Oil
1 Onion, finely diced
2 cloves Garlic, crushed
½ tsp Paprika
1 Green Pepper, diced
1 Tbsp homemade Hot Chilli Sauce
1 cup homemade Passata
Salt and Pepper
½ cup White wine
1 Tbsp Sugar
2 Bay Leaves
½ cup Cream
Method
Fry onions and garlic in a little olive oil over medium heat until translucent
Add giblets, paprika, chilli sauce and fry over high heat for 5 minutes
Add green peppers, passata, wine, sugar and bay leaves and bring to a simmer
Allow to simmer for 15 minutes
Remove bay leaves
Stir in cream
Serve with crusty bread
