Prawns on the braai'ish

Ingredients

  • 1.6kg King Prawns (about 24)

  • 500g Butter

  • 1½ bulbs of Garlic, crushed

  • 1 tbsp homemade Chilli Sauce

  • Handful of chopped Parsley to garnish

  • 1 Lemon, halved

  • Fresh bread to mop up butter

Method

  1. We used the large paella pan over the potjie 'fire pit'

  2. Melt butter in pan

  3. Add garlic and chilli sauce and keep stirring

  4. When butter is bubbling, add all the prawns

  5. When cooked, take the pan off the heat, squeeze some lemon juice over the prawns and sprinkle with parsley

  6. Use the bread to mop up butter directly from the pan
