Tante Anna's German Tart

Ingredients

  • 1 cup Sugar

  • 230g Butter

  • 3¼ cups Flour

  • 3 tsp Baking Powder

  • 2 Eggs

  • Salt, large pinch

  • Fruit filling

Method

  1. Cream butter and sugar, add eggs and beat well

  2. Add flour, baking powder and salt

  3. Grease tin then spread most of the mixture into the tin

  4. Place fruit filling onto and sprinkle the rest of the mixture over the top

  5. Bake for 20 to 30 minutes in the oven at 180°C
