Tuna Bake

Ingredients

  • 3 cloves Garlic

  • 2 Onions, chopped

  • 60g Butter

  • 2 tins Tuna

  • 1 tin Tomatoes, chopped

  • 250g Pasta

  • Grated Cheddar Cheese for topping


Sauce

  • 2 cups grated Cheddar Cheese

  • 250g Cream Cheese

  • 430ml (1½ cups) Cream

Method

  1. Cook pasta

  2. Drain tuna

  3. Fry onion & garlic in butter

  4. Flake tuna into onions

  5. Add tomatoes and simmer for a few minutes

  6. Mix all sauce ingredients together in a separate bowl

  7. Arrange all ingredients in an oven proof dish (pasta, then tuna, then sauce. Top layer must be sauce)

  8. Sprinkle with a little extra cheddar cheese

  9. If cooking immediately, bake at 180°C for 30 minutes, else bake for 45 minutes
